Winter weather advisory issued for Lincoln, much of Nebraska

The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory for Lincoln and much of Nebraska until 9 a.m. Friday.

Mixed precipitation is expected throughout the day Thursday in the Lincoln area, with snow accumulations of up to one inch and ice accumulations of up to one-tenth of an inch.

Friday's forecast calls for a freezing drizzle before 9 a.m., then rain throughout the day.
