Lincoln police are investigating a drive-by shooting that occurred in south Lincoln early Saturday morning.

The shooting occurred at about 5 a.m. in the 1400 block of South 21st Street, where investigators found several shell casings in an alley behind a residence. The home had been shot 16 times, but none of the bullets entered the house, according to police. 

There were three adults and six children in the home at the time, but no one was hurt.

There are no suspects at this time and police ask anyone with information on the shooting to call 402-441-6000 or Crimestoppers 402-475-3600.
