Participants can choose between a 2.5-mile route or a 6.5-mile route, both starting at the Jayne Snyder Trail Center at 228 N. 21st St. at 2 p.m.

There is a registration fee of $30, and people can register online at getmeregistered.com or bring cash or check to the event. Participants will get a T-shirt as part of their entry and there will also be a raffle with prizes.

The Lincoln Track Club will match each $30 entry fee and First National Bank of Omaha will match the total ($60) for a combined $120 donation per runner. The money will then be given to the Nebraska Community Foundation's Rebuild the Heartland Community Fund.
