A Pearl Harbor Observance Day program will be held at the Auld Pavilion in Antelope Park near the Veterans Memorial Garden at 11:55 a.m. Friday, Dec. 7.

The 155th Civil Air Patrol Composite Squadron will present and retire the Colors. The Lincoln Lutheran School Choir will provide the music. Kirstie Engel, associate pastor of St. Paul United Methodist Church, will offer the invocation and benediction. Featured speaker is retired Air Force Col. Joe Brownell, who was recently selected as director of the Military and Veteran Service Center at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.

The Veterans Memorial Garden advisory board and Lincoln Parks Foundation encourage attendees to share their remembrances of loved ones and friends. Refreshments will be provided by AMVETS Post 4.
