Lincoln in wind advisory; bulk of system is northeast

The winter weather advisory for Lincoln was cancelled, but the city is still in a wind advisory, the National Weather Service said.

Strong northwest winds of 25-35 mph, gusting to 45 mph, are expected through 8 p.m. The high today is forecast to be 35, with a low of 15 tonight.

Much of the wintry mix is in northeast Nebraska.
