The Lincoln Homeless Coalition honored advocates, businesses, organizations and volunteers on Friday for service to the homeless and near homeless in the community.

Scott Young from the Lincoln Food Bank emceed the 19th annual Lincoln Homeless Coalition Recognition Event Brunch at the Veterans Administration Auditorium where these recipients were honored:

Landlord of the year: Realty Works

Business: Don’t Panic Labs

Media: Lincoln Journal Star

Volunteer group: Berean Church Car Care Clinic

Human services individual: Bridget Thompson

Human services agency: University of Nebraska-Lincoln Center on Children, Families, and the Law

Collaborative project of the year: CABHI Project (CenterPointe, Mental Health Association, Region V Systems, University of Nebraska Public Policy Center)

Community partner: Lincoln City Libraries and Carl Eskridge

Coordinated entry award: Cole Dickes and Matt Martinosky
