Law enforcement officers and dispatchers honored

Seven law enforcement officers and three dispatchers were honored Oct. 26 by Capitol City Footprinters-Chapter 44 at its annual recognition dinner at Crooked Creek Golf Club. Honorees are (from left) Trooper Mark White, Nebraska State Patrol; Officer Rich Berggren, Nebraska State Game & Parks Commission; Officer Joe Villamonte, Lincoln Police Department; Deputy Barry Barnett, Lancaster County Sheriff Department; Dispatcher Jessica Loos, University of Nebraska-Lincoln Police Services; Dispatcher Diana Harris, Nebraska State Patrol; Dispatcher Elizabeth Ulmer, Lincoln Emergency Communications Center; Firefighter Cheyenne Jeffers, Lincoln Fire & Rescue; and Officer Malisa Rushing, Nebraska Department of Correctional Services. Not pictured: Sergeant Bryan Warner, University of Nebraska-Lincoln Police Services. Chief Owen Yardley attended and planned to present Warner's plaque to him. Presenting the plaques was International Footprint Association Grand President Dan Hanlon from California.
