Walter Zink won't seek another term on the Lincoln Airport Authority.

Zink, who is of counsel to the law firm Baylor, Evnen, Curtiss, Grimit and Witt and a retired major general in the Nebraska Army National Guard, was elected to the board in May 2009.

He said he enjoyed serving but decided not to seek a second term because he wants fewer commitments. His wife is retired, and he has grandchildren living in other states, he said.

Airport Authority members serve six-year, unpaid terms. The deadline for candidates to file to run for a seat on the board is March 6.
