The Lancaster County Election Commissioner will conduct voter registration at Lincoln library branches Saturday through Thursday.
Any Nebraska resident who will be 18 on or before Nov. 5, has moved, changed his or her name, or would like to change their political party affiliation, may register at the following times and locations:
* Saturday, Anderson Branch Library, 3635 Touzalin Ave., noon-1:30 p.m.
* Tuesday, Bennett Martin Library, 136 S. 14th St., 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m.
* Thursday, Gere Branch Library, 2400 S. 56th St., 12:30-2 p.m.
Online voter registration is also available and must be completed no later than March 22 in order to be effective for the April 9 city primary. The postmark deadline for mail-in voter registration is also March 22. Voter registration is available at nebraska.gov/apps-sos-voter-registration/.
Residents may also register to vote at the Election Commissioner’s Office, 601 N. 46th St., through March 29. The office is open weekdays, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., through March 28 and will be open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on March 29. Questions: 402-441-7311.
