LPS Graduation

Family and friends rise as Lincoln Southwest students enter the commencement ceremony last year at Pinnacle Bank Arena.

Lincoln Public Schools will livestream high school graduations May 27 on its website for the first time.

To view a graduation ceremony live, go to and click on the graduation page. Each high school will have its own stream that will start broadcasting at least 10 minutes before the ceremony’s scheduled start time.

“Families most often want to celebrate their student’s achievement in person, but we also recognize there are circumstances that sometimes prevent extended family members from attending the event,” said Pat Hunter-Pirtle, director of secondary education.

Graduations for all six public high schools will be May 27 at Pinnacle Bank Arena and the Devaney Sports Center.
