The sign at 5500 Superior St. urging people to donate to help flooding victims.

Donations to help flooding victims are being sought in numerous places in the Lincoln area. Here are a few: 

* Windstream retail locations will be collecting cleaning supplies beginning March 22 to be given to the Wahoo emergency relief effort.

* Trailer is being loaded at 5500 Superior St. for Fremont flood victims. Items needed: Size 6 diapers, soy formula, Alimentum formula, 4T-5T Pullups, new baby bottles, paper plates and cups, new bed sheets and pillows, kids' toothbrushes, new hairbrushes and combs. There is a big need for new bath towels.

Also seeking water, canned goods, cleaning supplies, 5-gallon buckets, dog food, new toys, toiletries, hygiene products, snacks, mops, laundry detergent, bleach, paper towels, trash bags, wet/ dry vacuums, pressure washers, hoses, new underwear, new socks, hygiene products (deodorant, toothbrushes, toothpaste, hand sanitizer, soap) rubber and nitrile gloves, trash bags.

* Minis Preschool and Childcare Center at 4700 Antelope Creek Road and 2800 Crossbridge Road wants to fill its vans with items to be donated to the Red Cross.

Items sought: Diapers, wipes, formula, bottles, deodorant, toothbrushes/paste, shampoo/conditioner, body soap, feminine hygiene products, blankets/pillows, bottled water and nonperishable foods/snacks.
