Police say two juveniles attacked a 60-year-old woman and pointed a gun at her and robbed her before running her over in northeast Lincoln on Tuesday morning.

The incident happened just before 10 a.m. near 60th Street and St. Paul Avenue, about a block from Lincoln Northeast High School.

The teenagers, both 17-year-old boys, were found later in the day. One was referred to the County Attorney's Office for robbery.

Officer Luke Bonkiewicz said the woman told police she saw a vehicle driving recklessly in the area, yelled at them to slow down, and two teenage boys got out and confronted her.

He said the victim told officers they both punched her, then one pointed a gun at her and threatened her before they drove away, running her over with one of the car's wheels.

The also took her mobile phone, Bonkiewicz said, adding that the woman was taken to a local hospital with nonlife-threatening injuries.
