Two men robbed a 20-year-old woman at gunpoint while she was trying to sell a cellphone south of downtown Thursday, a police spokeswoman said.

The woman set up the sale with a man she met on the Letgo app, an online marketplace, and they agreed to meet at Capitol Avenue and F Street around 8:30 p.m., Officer Angela Sands said Friday.

She gave the man the iPhone she was planning to sell him for $320, and he and another man went to test it quickly at a nearby place that had wireless internet, Sands said.

The buyer and a third man returned and told her she wasn’t getting her money and one of them pointed a handgun at her before they left, she told police. She was not injured.

No arrests had been made in the case Friday morning.
