Lincoln police recovered a vehicle Sunday afternoon that had been reported stolen from a teenage boy by two people, one of them armed.
The 16-year-old victim had been sitting in his parked car in Bethany Park waiting for his friends Saturday at about 11 p.m. when two people entered his car. One of the intruders was holding a handgun and threatened to shoot the victim unless he got out of the car, according to police.
The victim gave the two people his cellphone and exited the 2005 gray Pontiac G6, and they drove off.
The car was recovered Sunday just before 3 p.m. in the 3800 block of Cleveland Avenue. Police said the car had extensive damage, including a smashed windshield, and driver's-side and passenger-side windows.
The two people who stole the vehicle have not been identified, police said.
