The Nebraska State Patrol is investigating a double homicide that occurred Saturday morning in Douglas, according to a news release from the state patrol.

Investigators were called to 100 Otoe St. after Otoe County Sheriff's deputies responded to reports of gunshots just before 6 a.m.

Randal Grimes, 56, and Annette Grimes, 51, were found dead from apparent gunshot wounds, the state patrol said.

According to a post on the Sioux City (Iowa) Police Department Facebook page Saturday evening, authorities are looking for 36-year-old Brindar Jangir, who was living in Sioux City. Jangir is believed to be driving a red, four-door 2008 Honda Accord with the Iowa license plate GHW-345. He is considered armed and extremely dangerous, Sioux City Police said.

Court records indicate that Jangir previously lived in Lincoln. Anyone with information on his whereabouts is encouraged to call 911.

The Nebraska State Patrol is investigating the deaths along with the Otoe and Lancaster county sheriff's offices, as well as the Lincoln Police Department.
