Police: Lincoln woman hit person with car

  • 0

Lincoln police arrested a 20-year-old woman accused of intentionally hitting another woman with her car early Sunday.

The other woman, 22, told police she started arguing with Princess Thompson, 4602 St. Paul Ave., No. 30, about 1:30 a.m. inside the U-Stop Convenience Shop at 942 S. 27th St., said Capt. Jim Davidsaver.

The argument moved into the parking lot, with mutual name-calling, Davidsaver said.

Thompson then allegedly got into her silver 1997 Honda and hit the other woman, Davidsaver said.

The woman was treated at a local hospital and released, Davidsaver said.

Thompson was found later and jailed on suspicion of second-degree assault and use of a weapon to commit a felony, Davidsaver said.

Police believe the women knew one another prior to this alleged incident, Davidsaver said.
