Police arrested a 51-year-old Lincoln man Saturday morning they say threatened to "gut" his roommate with a knife following arguments about money and chores, a department spokeswoman said.

Troy Cox walked into his 50-year-old roommate's bedroom in a home in the 100 block of West E Street at about 7:30 a.m. holding a kitchen knife, frustrated about the ongoing argument, Officer Angela Sands said.

Cox was arrested on suspicion of terroristic threats and use of a weapon to commit a felony.
