A Lincoln man was arrested Friday night after he punched one officer and bit another, according to Lincoln police.

Officers were called to a home in the 1200 block of South 22nd Street on a report of a disturbance shortly after 9:30 p.m., according to Capt. Ryan Dale. There, two female officers contacted 54-year-old Thomas Baker, who was involved in the disturbance. When the officers approached Baker to arrest him, he became aggressive and punched one of the officers in the face and bit the other in the leg, Dale said.

The officers, whose names haven't been released, were both treated for minor injuries at the scene. 

Baker was arrested and lodged in the Lancaster County Jail on suspicion of two counts of assault on a police officer, one county of resisting arrest and one count of obstructing government operations.
