Nebraska Game and Parks burglarized

The Nebraska Game and Parks Commission reported a loss of almost $3,000 in cash, electronics and more in a weekend burglary.

Lincoln Police Capt. David Beggs said someone broke a window in the front entrance of the commission building, 2200 N. 33rd St., between late Saturday evening and about 6:45 a.m. Monday. The burglar or burglars punched a hole through a wall in a conference room and took a safe containing $1,873, according to a police report.

Other items reported stolen included a laptop computer, a computer monitor, a money order and a stuffed animal. The total loss reported to police was $2,886.

Beggs said police have no no suspects. Anyone with information is asked to call Crimestoppers at (402) 475-3600.
