Lincoln police arrested a man they say pointed a gun at employees inside the Goodcents near 27th and Cornhusker Highway Saturday night.

Officers were dispatched to the restaurant just before 9 p.m. Capt. Danny Reitan said 39-year-old Souvanh Sonthana went inside the building and asked to speak with a female by name.

When the employees told Sonthana there was no employee by that name, Reitan said Sonthana pulled a gun out and pointed it at the employees.

The employees fled through the back of the restaurant, and officers arrived to find Sonthana still standing inside with the gun, Reitan said. He was arrested without incident.

Sonthana faces charges of making terroristic threats, felon in possession of a firearm and use of a weapon to commit a felony.
