Police arrested a 41-year-old Lincoln woman Sunday afternoon for allegedly stabbing a man.
The Lancaster County Attorney's office on Monday charged Bari Akbar, of 1964 S.W. 27th St., with second-degree domestic assault, a felony, for what happened at around 5 p.m. Sunday.
A teenager called 911 saying his father had been stabbed. Police said they arrived to find a 45-year-old man lying on an apartment patio with blood covering his shirt and a knife in the grass a few feet away.
In an affidavit for Akbar's arrest, police said the man told them they had been arguing when she picked up a knife and he said, "What are you going to do, stab me?" and she did.
He was able to get the knife from her and yelled for his son to call 911.

Akbar denied stabbing him and said she thought he planned the whole thing and stabbed himself in hopes of sending her to jail.
In court records, police said they swabbed what appeared to be blood on both of her hands.
