Lincoln man accused of stabbing man in fight over money

Police say a 47-year-old Lincoln man was stabbed in the torso during a fight over money at about 9 p.m. Thursday.

Officer Erin Spilker said Johnnie Blackwater, 54, of Lincoln, turned himself in and was arrested on suspicion of second-degree assault and use of a weapon to commit a felony.

It happened in the 6400 block of Platte Avenue. Spilker said the victim went to a hospital with a non-life-threatening injury.
