Four people died in a house fire Saturday morning in Cordova, the Seward County Sheriff's Office said in a news release.

Crews responded to reports of a fire at about 7:30 a.m. and found the house fully engulfed.

Six people were in the structure at the time of the fire and two were able to escape. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.

The names of those killed have not been released.
