Assault in Lincoln leaves person in critical condition

Lincoln Police reported that a person was left with life-threatening injuries after being assaulted Friday afternoon.

A dispute broke out between two neighbors, resulting in one getting stabbed by the other, according to officials.

Police were called to 3600 Touzalin Ave. at about 4 p.m. and found the victim, a 45-year-old man. He was taken to a hospital and is in critical condition.

A 51-year-old man was taken into custody for first degree assault and use of a weapon to commit a felony, officials said.

The suspect's name hadn't been released as of Saturday.
