Lincoln drug investigators probing a Crimestoppers tip Saturday arrested seven people suspected of drug dealing and drug possession after finding half a pound of methamphetamine, a police spokeswoman said.
At about 1 a.m., police stopped a car leaving a house at 4511 St. Paul Ave. with suspected ties to drug sales and spoke with two women in the vehicle, Officer Angela Sands said.
One woman had a warrant and gave a fake name, so police detained her and searched the car, finding 9 ounces of meth, 2 ounces of marijuana, paraphernalia and $175 that police suspect was drug money, Sands said.
Driver Brenda Hinz, 40, and her passenger, 46-year-old Christina Fischer, were both arrested on suspicion of possession of meth with intent to distribute.
Hinz was also suspected of possessing the marijuana, and Fischer was suspected of possessing the drug money.
Nearly five hours later, investigators served a no-knock search warrant at the home and found a tenth of an ounce of meth and almost 1 pound of marijuana, she said.
More than 500 used syringes were also found in the basement.
Resident Lesa Bulin, 49, was injured when officers busted in the front door, according to an affidavit for her arrest. She was taken to a hospital and treated for a broken ankle and cuts and scratches.
Police arrested Bulin, her roommates Stephen Bulin, 30, and Dustin Cain, 26, as well as Jordan Koll, 18, and Kristopher Marcoe, 36, Sands said.
Lesa Bulin and Cain were taken to jail on suspicion of possession with intent to distribute.
Cain was also suspected of possessing meth and drug money.
Marcoe, Koll and Stephen Bulin were jailed on suspicion of possession of meth.
