Two Florida men were arrested after Nebraska state troopers found 20 pounds of marijuana in a car following a high-speed chase on Interstate 80 and through Lincoln on Wednesday afternoon.
The chase started at about 12:30 p.m. when York County sheriff's deputies clocked the black Nissan Versa going faster than 100 mph on Interstate 80 and tried to pull it over, according to a news release from the State Patrol.

The car continued on the interstate toward Lincoln, occasionally crossing into oncoming traffic, then took Nebraska 2 into the city as a patrol helicopter followed overhead.
The car ran red lights and broke through construction barriers in Lincoln, the patrol said. Troopers continued their on-the-road pursuit once the Versa left the city, eventually using spike strips to slow the car so troopers could stop it on Nebraska 2 east of town.
The driver, Jason Roberts, and passenger Branden Comer, both 31, were arrested on suspicion of possessing more than one pound of marijuana and possession with intent to deliver.
Roberts is also accused of willful reckless driving and operating a motor vehicle to avoid arrest. Both men also had outstanding warrants from Florida.
