Lincoln Animal Control is trying to identify two medium- to large-sized dogs that attacked an elderly couple and their dog in the Country Club neighborhood Oct. 3.

The two dogs jumped from the window of a vehicle as it passed near Woodsdale Boulevard and Cedar Avenue, sending one person to a hospital with a severe bite to an arm. The couple's dog was also being treated for multiple bites.

A woman allegedly got out from the vehicle, grabbed the attacking dogs, and put them back into her car before leaving the area after the attack, according to Lincoln police.

Police did not provide any description of the woman or her vehicle. One dog was described as white and black, and the other either red or tan.

Anyone with information that might help identify the dogs or their owner should contact Animal Control at 402-441-7900.
