Seven teens who set out to TP some houses instead turned their attention -- and their toilet paper -- to passing cars near 56th Street and London Road early Wednesday, police say.
Officer Katie Flood said the boys, all 16, wet down wads of toilet paper and whipped them at cars about 2:30 a.m.
The windshields of two cars were shattered, she said. Fortunately, she said, neither of the drivers ran off the road or crashed.
The boys were apprehended and cited on suspicion of vandalism for throwing the toilet paper wads, or, as Lincoln Police Chief Tom Casady called them, "summer snowballs."
