A 43-year-old man led police on a low-speed chase after officers found him wearing women's clothing in Wilderness Park on Saturday afternoon.
A citizen called police at 1:15 p.m. after seeing a man dressed in provocative women's clothing - while with a small child - in Wilderness Park, said Officer Katie Flood.
When officers arrived, they found William Kaluf wearing pink fishnet women's stockings, no shoes and a bra with a revealing woman's top. Police say Kaluf was reading pornography and had his 23-month-old son with him.
Police discovered Kaluf had outstanding warrants for driving under suspension and possession of stolen property, but before they could arrest him, he allegedly started his maroon Buick and drove out of the parking lot, Flood said.
An officer followed Kaluf with red lights and sirens to his home at 2901 S. 14th St. Kaluf generally followed traffic laws and maintained control of his car. He was arrested at his home without further incident, Flood said.
Police allegedly found a marijuana pipe in the glove box, Flood said. Kaluf was jailed on suspicion of driving under suspension, fleeing to avoid arrest, no insurance, child neglect and possession of drug paraphernalia.
