Boo at the Zoo, which took place Oct. 26-30 at the Lincoln Children's Zoo, raised $140,000 to help care for the zoo's animals.
Over 18,000 people attended the event, which has been a community tradition for 42 years, giving families a place to trick-or-treat in a safe and not-so-scary environment. Over 800,000 treats were given out including apples, carrots and tooth brushes.
Volunteers donated over 4,000 hours to the event.
