“It’s official – HopeSpoke is the new Child Guidance Center,” declared Executive Director Katie McLeese Stephenson, MSW, during the public reveal festivities. She continued, “Our new tag line is Inspiring Children & Families to Move Forward.”

It was a morning of exciting news and congratulations emceed by John P. Neal, CGC board of directors president. Speakers included Mayor Chris Beutler; Nevaeh Murphy, East High student; McLeese Stephenson; and Eddie Brown, Lincoln Chamber of Commerce.

Attendees included board and staff members, donors and funders, elected officials, nonprofit agencies and collaborative partners, along with Chamber ambassadors who all helped with the ribbon-cutting event to showcase the new bright paint, new name and colorful logo and signage.
