Do your parents or other loved ones depend on you? Do you need answers to help take care of them?
Actual family situations will be discussed by case management, finance, rehabilitation and legal professionals at a Lincoln Caregivers Education Group meeting that is open to the public. Join them Wednesday, Oct. 24, from noon-1:30 p.m. in the Georgian Room of the UNL Student Union, 1400 R St., to learn about community resources before a crisis occurs.
While this presentation will be helpful for all caregivers, it also addresses the needs of those living alone and all older persons. Time will be available for questions and discussion.
Attendees will receive information and resources to take home. The Caregiver Organizer, an effective tool for caregivers, will also be available for a suggested donation. A folder of resources will be given to each attendee.
Make your reservation by Oct. 19 by calling 402-472-3107. If you find at the last minute that you can attend, feel free to come.
