Baby gorilla makes her debut at the Omaha zoo


It's been a big week for the Henry Doorly Zoo, with a new bull elephant and now a baby gorilla.

The female western lowland gorilla made her debut in the Omaha zoo nursery Friday, wearing human diapers. She was born May 5 and is being cared for by animal care staff and in close proximity to her mother, Bambio, and the other western lowland gorillas.
