Contemplate Lincoln "Care packages for the quarantined" — Pastor Adam and his friends at J-Tech Construction are delivering seven days of groceries to people who have been exposed to COVID-19 or tested positive for the virus and can’t go out of their homes to get groceries. Anyone in need can sign up for the grocery package, and those who want to make a monetary donation can do so on the Contemplate website. A request form must be completed. Drive-thru Christmas "Light the Night" event — 8-10 p.m. Dec. 12. Thousands of Christmas lights on 40 acres, Nativity scene, Santa and Mrs. Claus, free event. Items for purchase at the Chick-fil-A SouthPointe food truck, 50% of your Chick-fil-A purchase will benefit Christian Heritage ministry preventing abuse and neglect, 14880 Old Cheney Road.

Living Nativity Scene at Southern Heights Presbyterian Church — 6:30-8:30 p.m. Dec. 17-18. Stay safe and warm in your car as you drive through the parking lot to view the manager scene, free event, monetary donations accepted for the Food Bank of Lincoln, but not required, deposit your donations into the bins located in the parking lot, 5750 S. 40th St.
