St. Mark’s United Methodist Church, 8550 Pioneers Blvd., will host its 15th annual Show ‘n Shine Father’s Day car show Sunday, June 17, from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Proceeds from the car show will benefit the St. Mark’s Transportation for Humanity program.
The car show is described by its founders as “the best little car show on earth,” and is consistent with their belief that “really cool churches have car shows.” The car show features anything on wheels including scooters, motorcycles, cars and tractors.
Registration is free and begins at 8 a.m. in the south parking lot. Trophies are awarded according to the people’s choice. Lunch is available 11 a.m.-1 p.m.
Worship services are at 7:45, 9 and 10:30 a.m., and those attending or participating in the car show are invited to attend.
The St. Mark’s Transportation for Humanity program is a needs-based mission outreach program established nearly 25 years ago that gives vehicles to families who are struggling to overcome hardships yet sustain self-sufficiency.
