Anthony John Wiedel DDS, 61, of Hebron, departed this life Monday, Dec. 09, 2013. Born Jan. 4, 1952 to Frank and Helena (Fischbach) Wiedel. Tony graduated from Fairbury High School in 1970. He then attended Doane College in Crete and University of Nebraska Dental College in Lincoln. Tony opened his dental practice in Hebron in 1978 where he was until his death.
He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Hebron, 4th Degree Knights of Columbus, and past member of the Hebron Lions Club. Tony had some favorite hobbies, the main one was his cattle, playing cards, collecting old coins, attending auctions and spending time with his family especially his nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, and infant sister, Mary Cecilia. He is survived by four brothers; Daniel and wife Freda of Hubbell, Michael of Blacksburg, Va., Martin and wife Mary of Grand Island, and Dr. Gregory and wife Suzanne of Huron, S.D.; two sisters, Virginia Wiedel of Shawnee, Kan. and Mary Ann Long and husband Pat of Reno, Nev.; special friends, Brenda Bush and James Timmermans; nieces, nephews and friends.
Mass of Chrisitan burial: 10 a.m. Monday, 12/16, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Hebron. Officiant will be Father Rudy Oborny. Visitation: noon to 7 pm with rosary at 7 p.m., Sunday at Hebron Memorial Funeral Home. Memorials in care of the family. Condolences may be left at www.krollfh.com
