Harlan Paul Baehr, 77, of Lincoln, passed away September 12, 2018. Born December 12, 1940, in Beatrice to Williams and Emma (Buhr) Baehr. Harlan worked on various farms while in school. After high school he worked for the Nebraska Department of Roads, Dobson Brothers Construction Co., Constructors, Inc. and Dutrol Inc. for over 50 years. After retirement he was a volunteer for Bridges to Hope, and Sheridan Lutheran Church.
Survivors include his wife Verda (Rabel) Baehr; son Mark Baehr, Lincoln; daughter Lori (Joe) O'Boyle, Downers Grove, Ill.; grandsons Jonathan and Ben O'Boyle, Ill.; brother Lee Baehr, Colo., and Bill Baehr, Mo.; sisters Leanna (Joe) Minick, Beatrice, Linda (Mike) Williams, Connie Baehr (Ted Munsch) and Shirley Baehr, all of Florida; Betty (Dave) Friedrichs, Kan., Debra (Chris) Caudill, Lincoln. Preceded in death by parents, sister Carolyn George and grandson Shawn O'Boyle.
Celebration of life will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, 9-18, at Sheridan Lutheran Church, 6955 Old Cheney Rd. Burial will take place at 2 p.m. in Highland Cemetery, Adams.
