Delores (Dee) M. (Harms) Pearson Cloyed, 92, of Lincoln, passed away Tuesday, December 4, 2018. Born to her dear parents, Elmer and Lillie (Borchers) Harms, on October 6, 1926, in Syracuse. Dee was a much beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, friend, and neighbor. She loved her family fiercely, expected the best from us, and gave her best in return. She walked with God her whole life and loved her church and church family. She enjoyed a long career before retirement, traveling with husband; Norm, gardening, and crossword puzzles. She loved her grandpuppies and kitties, the KC Royals, and most of all, her Husker football, basketball, and volleyball teams.
She will be dearly missed by husband, Norman Cloyed; daughters Julie (Clay) Pearson Anderson, Kerry Pearson Jones; brother, James Harms; step-daughter, Patti Wenzel; grandchildren, Jeffrey (Heidi) Pearson, Michelle (Jon) Pearson Gilliland, Eric (Katie) Jones, Brent Jones, Easton Wenzel, and Courtney (Doug) Brehm; five great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, three nieces, one nephew; honorary daughter, Linda Rumbaugh; beloved cousin, Donnie Borchers; many special friends. She is preceded in death by her parents; son, Bruce Pearson; brother, Dale Harms; sisters-in-law, Shirley Harms, Sheri Harms.
Services are at 11:30 a.m. Monday, December 10, at Sheridan Lutheran Church, 6955 Old Cheney Rd. Viewing from 10 – 11:15 a.m. before services at the church. Memorials to the family for future designation. Condolences may be left online at www.lincolnccfh.com
