Retired Lincoln Public Schools teacher, Al Bock, passed peacefully on Tuesday, January 22, 2019, surrounded by his family. Al was born in Sterling, Colorado, to Harold and Betty Bock. He created an engaging learning environment through his storytelling and sense of humor. He enjoyed spending time with his family, watching movies and football, reading books, walking, and telling dad jokes.
He is survived by his wife, Kim; children Callie (Carl), Emily (Jonathan), Dan; sister, Peggy (Scott); granddaughter, Penelope; and family, friends, and loved ones. He is preceded in death by his parents and infant brother Darrell.
A celebration of life will be at 10 am on Saturday, February 2, at the Lancaster Event Center in the Lincoln room. Lunch will be served at 12 pm before the 3 pm memorial service at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 3825 Wildbriar Lane.
