In Lancaster County, most incumbents will be re-elected because they don't face challengers.

Only the treasurer’s race and two County Board seats have two candidates.

Offices where incumbents are running without contest are county sheriff, county assessor/register of deeds, county attorney, county clerk, county clerk of the district court, county engineer, county public defender and county commissioner in District 3.

The Lancaster County treasurer, elected for a four-year term, handles all deposits and tax receipts and invests county funds.

The treasurer, who will be paid $96,233 next year, also handles motor vehicle registration, titles and license plates and provides space for driver's license examiners.
