This time, the Nebraska volleyball team will have to share the stage, but the Huskers are once again set to meet President Bush at a White House reception.

The Huskers, along with the women’s bowling team from Vanderbilt, the men’s track team from Florida State, and many others, will be part of what the White House has billed as NCAA Division I Champions Day on June 18.

Nebraska coach John Cook said Wednesday that staff members were busy this week arranging flights for the Huskers, who will be in summer school and helping with the annual Nebraska Volleyball Camp leading up to their White House visit.

A Nebraska team last visited the White House on May 31, 2001, after the volleyball team won the 2000 national championship.
