Dec. 24

• At about 3 p.m. Dec. 24th, the Near South Neighborhood Association and Goodhue Boulevard neighbors will be busy placing luminarias (candles in paper bags) along the islands of Goodhue Boulevard. Once the sun sets, hundreds of lights will illuminate the path to the Capitol, resulting in a beautiful holiday sight to see. If you missed it last year, be sure to stroll or drive down the boulevard on this beautiful night. Interested in getting in on the fun? Email luminarias@nearsouth.org to become a volunteer.
