Unloading buses

Volunteers from Cornhusker International Trucks unload buses of products donated by customers at Lincoln Super Saver and Russ's Market stores in the Stuff the Bus event for shipment to the Salvation Army for flood relief in Nebraska.

Lincoln Super Saver and Russ’s Market stores raised $43,130 for Nebraska flood relief in a recent Round Up promotion at 10 locations. Customers also donated 12 busloads of products in conjunction with Cornhusker International Trucks.

The Stuff the Bus event took place March 19-22. Cornhusker International Trucks shipped the products to the Salvation Army for dispersal.

In addition to the Stuff the Bus event, each Lincoln Russ’s Market and Super Saver location executed a Round Up at the check lanes. Customers were able to round up their purchase to the nearest dollar, and the proceeds went to the Salvation Army, from which they were directed to Nebraska flood relief. The Round Up started March 19 and continued through April 7.
