'Multicolor' acrylic by Pam Stevens.

The Lexington Art Gallery features a new body of art from Pam Stevens on display through May 31. “Textures from The Project Room” features 12 acrylics of various subjects. The Lexington Art Gallery is located in the resident dining room of The Lexington Assisted Living Center, 5550 Pioneers Blvd.

Stevens created stained glass pieces for several years and carried over that tactile nature to her paintings.

“Texture is central to the pieces because I think it brings them alive,” she said.

Stevens has been part of the focus group at Noyes Gallery in downtown Lincoln. She lives in Eagle where her studio “The Project Room by PS” is located.
