Noyes Art Gallery, 119 S. Ninth St., invites patrons to celebrate Czech heritage through art, food and music from 6-9 p.m. on Third Friday, May 17.

At the event, eight Noyes artists will display Czech-inspired art: Deb Monfelt (painting), Sarah Wanek (painting), Aimee Booton (painting), Karen Griffin (jewelry), Kathryn Engstrom (painting), Steve O’Hare (photography), Joan Phelan (photography & mixed media) and Ambur Harvey (painting).

In addition to the new artwork, event organizer Deb Monfelt will share about the life and work of Czech Nouveau artist Alphonse Mucha.

Noyes will also host live music by Tom Willard, whose guitar, vocals and original music will create a unique accompaniment as you browse the art. Czech refreshments, including kolaches and poppy seed cake, will be served.
