The 18th Lincoln Arts Festival returns to SouthPointe Pavilions at 27th and Pine Lake Road Saturday, Sept. 22, and Sunday, Sept. 23.
Ninety-plus artists from across Nebraska and the nation will show and sell a variety of original art pieces in styles and prices to suit all tastes and budgets. Seventeen states will be represented with nearly 40 artists from Nebraska.
Live music from bands featured at Lincoln Calling will appear on the Southeast Community College World Entertainment Stage from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. and from 2 p.m.-4 p.m. each day.
New for 2018: Student artwork will be shown in Barnes & Noble Bookstore, which will also host a benefit book fair for the Lincoln Arts Council. Participating students will each be recognized with a certificate presentation at Barnes & Noble at 2 p.m.
Festival food plus free art activities in the Creative Zone will add to the energy of this community event. A free yoga class will be at the festival on Sunday morning.
Admission is a suggested donation of $1 at the gate for ages 12 and up.
