Lincoln Artists' Guild (LAG) celebrates a one-year anniversary of having its gallery at Against the Wall Framing & Art Gallery, 6220 Havelock Ave. The gallery is a collaboration with John O’Hare, owner of the Frame Shop, who graciously offered his walls to LAG.
LAG board members recently decided to change from First Friday to First Thursday art walks since the Havelock business community is open Thursday evenings. Feb. 7 will be the First Thursday art walk of the year. Reception is from 5-7 p.m. Regular hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Sundays, 1-5 p.m.; closed Monday and Tuesday.
For updates on Guild activities and events, see the Lincoln Artists' Guild Facebook page and lincolnartistsguild.org.
LAG is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization that is open to all people with a common goal to advance the visual arts. It provides educational opportunities, workshops and lectures, and includes amateur, professional and emerging artists.
