The Lincoln Artists’ Guild’s Spring Show opened March 1 at LUX Center for the Arts, featuring 36 art pieces ranging from oil, acrylic, photography and fabric to mixed media and sculpture.
Judge for the show was Anne Pagel, curator for international collectors Karen and Robert Duncan. Pagel selected Reida Wrenholt's polyform sculpture titled “Keep Growing” for Best of Show honors.
Merit Award winners were Keri Kriston, Danielle Dewees and Pam Apley. Honorable Mention went to Donna Pozehl, Jude Martindale and Wrenholt.
A People’s Choice Award will be tallied on Friday, March 22. The show runs until March 28 and is open Tuesday through Saturday, 11 a.m.-5 p.m. at the LUX, 2601 N. 48th St. The next Lincoln Artists’ Guild show will be at the LUX April 5-19.
