Clay Club Spring Sale

The Clay Club’s Spring Sale is set for April 26-27 in Richards Hall, Room 118. Purchases support the work of talented student artists.

The University of Nebraska–Lincoln’s School of Art, Art History & Design will host the Clay Club’s Spring Sale April 26-27 in Richards Hall Room 118 at Stadium Drive and T streets.

Sale hours are Friday, April 26, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Saturday, April 27, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Cash, checks and credit cards will be accepted.

In addition, at 8:30 a.m. Friday there will be a special collector’s tour of all the work in the Clay Club’s sale.

The sale will include works of art created by graduate and undergraduate students, alumni and faculty, representing a broad range of aesthetics, techniques and concepts.

In addition to the sale, there will be a raffle of work donated by students, faculty and select local artists. Raffle tickets can be purchased either day. The drawing will be at 5 p.m. Saturday, but winners need not be present to win.

Sale proceeds go to the artists and help fund the Clay Club. This student-run organization brings visiting artists to the community and sends students to national clay conferences.

Public parking is available in the Stadium Drive parking garage. For more details, call 402-472-5522 or e-mail schoolaahd@unl.edu.
