Mike Barry's booth at Lincoln Arts Festival

Mike Barry, a nature photographer from St. Charles, Missouri, visits with a customer at his booth at the Lincoln Arts Festival.

Beautiful fall weekend weather Sept. 22-23 was a bonus to over 7,000 people who attended the 18th annual Lincoln Arts Festival to enjoy art, music, food and children’s activities at SouthPointe Pavilions.

A variety of creative talent from over 100 artists included disciplines ranging from clay to woodworking, painting, photography, sculpture and jewelry. Many volunteers, patrons, sponsors, artists and art lovers participated in the event.

The Lincoln Arts Council gives a heartfelt thank-you to SouthPointe Pavilions for partnering with the LAC for 18 years to produce this fall tradition. In its 19th year, the Lincoln Arts Festival will move to downtown Lincoln. The LAC is excited for the change of venue as downtown Lincoln has always been the heart of Lincoln’s vibrant art scene. Preliminary plans are to locate the festival in the area around 14th and P streets between Union Plaza and Centennial Mall. Stay tuned for more details in upcoming months.
